Does a photo menu raise the average spend?

Yes, it can raise it if the large photo is the higher-margin dish and the floor offers it. It does not rise just because there are images: if the large photo is the dish that leaves the least, the ticket does not improve. That spend is compared and only the photo of the dish that was truly ordered more is left large.
