How do you prepare the room on shoot day?

The photo table is kept free, with clean crockery and the ceiling light that gets in the way switched off. It is not ready if service has already seated someone there or the window is dirty. Hold the table by the window, clear old menus, and tell the floor that seat stays empty until you finish. The miss is plating on a table with crumbs and a crooked QR, and having that show in the menu photo. When the shutter goes, the table is already clear and the first plate can leave without a tidy-up.
