What role does colour play in appetite or in trust?

In a dining room, colour supports the plate if it comes from the crockery and the light, not if it covers the photo with a filter. In a clinic, trust comes from the colour already on the coat and the counter, repeated without shouting. Put the menu beside the plate, or the card beside the coat. If the printed colour is not in the room, it is extra.
