How do you use story polls to improve what you offer?

A poll is useful if the question is a dish the kitchen can cook both ways, and the result is read before the next order. Asking whether people like the venue changes neither the menu nor the pass. The kitchen proposes two real options, with cost and with time to the pass, before the story goes out. One option wins in stories and on Saturday it is not on the menu because nobody passed the result to the kitchen. One poll a month, with two possible dishes, and a note to the kitchen the same day with the result and the date it will be tried.
