Should a food story be shot vertical first because of Instagram?

No, if the site and the press are the destination: the story of service wants horizontal so it can be seen in series. Vertical is a crop of one moment, and it does not lead the day. Say where the story lives this year, on the page or only in the feed. The miss in Madrid is shooting everything vertical and then being unable to build the sequence on the site. The chapters come out horizontal; the vertical crop, if needed, is of one moment and not of the whole archive.
