What usually goes wrong when you photograph food with a phone?

What fails is the ceiling flash, a top-down crop with a thumb, and a filter that changes the stew's colour. It does not fail if the table has window light and the whole plate is in frame, sauce included. Clean the lens, turn the flash off, and move the table toward the window before the plate comes out. In Madrid dining rooms the flash fires on its own and the broccoli goes neon beside a grey piece of meat. If the phone is only a bridge, the menu file is still the one from the shoot, not that test fixed afterwards.
