Can I reuse old photos in ads?

Yes, if the dish, the crockery and the room in that photo are still this week's. No, if the ad promises a dish the kitchen has already changed.

Yes, if the dish, the crockery and the room in that photo are still this week's. No, if the ad promises a dish the kitchen has already changed. Put the photo beside the plate that leaves today and see if a guest would notice the difference. In the sierra a summer terrace is advertised in November and the person who arrives does not find those tables. If it still holds, the ad uses that file cropped again; if it does not, it is set aside and shot once more.

Join a community built for businesses that need photos that sell the dish, the room and the service—not just pretty files. We share tips on light, shots and what each file is for on social, the menu or Google. Short ideas you can apply in the next session or with a phone. No studio theatre, no shoots nobody uses and no generic influencer advice. Real criteria so photography works in the day-to-day of the business.
