“Near me” local capture for shops and services

“Near me” intent already wants to buy. Your job is not to lose it in a confusing click.

“Near me” local capture for shops and services

Many local searches no longer name your brand: they name the need and the proximity. If your Google listing is incomplete, your photos are old and the ad sends people to a slow site, that intent goes to the competitor on the next estate.

Order of battle: complete listing (real hours, categories, photos), coherent presence, then Google Ads if there’s budget. Jumping to ads with a broken listing is paying to paper over holes.

Honest proximity copy. “In the centre of Moralzarzal”, “by the station”, “easy parking”. Those signals cut friction more than an abstract quality claim.

Mobile and call. In local capture, many people don’t want a blog: they want to dial. Visible buttons, click-to-call, WhatsApp. The site can be simple if contact is obvious.

Reviews as creative. Asking for reviews with good judgement and replying to them is part of local digital marketing. Ignoring a public complaint is a free ad for the competition.

Match ad radius to your real service radius. If you don’t deliver 25 km out, don’t advertise 25 km out. It sounds obvious; the mismatch is common.

If people search and can’t find you clearly, we both lose. We review listing, creatives and click destination with a contact focus — not impression vanity.
