Ask for examples of the same business type and a similar radius. A national ecommerce case doesn’t prove they can fill a terrace in Galapagar. A local marketing agency is tested locally.
Demand deliverables: number of pieces, photo sessions, live campaigns, reply times. “Strategic accompaniment” without a list is fog.
Who does the work. A junior community manager 200 km away? A team that visits the venue? Distance isn’t a sin; opacity is.
A contract with an exit. A one- or three-month trial with agreed metrics. Rigid annuals before you know the service usually benefit only one side.
Theatre signals: email funnel before price, viral promises, unreadable reports, disdain for WhatsApp as a channel. Good signals: questions about margin, area and floor operations.
Fit media budget and production budget. If they only talk bids and never creatives, you’ll end up paying for clicks with weak photos.
Compare two or three options with the same short brief. Clarity of reply is already part of the service. We answer on WhatsApp with a concrete scope — you can use that as contrast.
We talk like the floor: what’s done, when it’s delivered, what it’s for. No call-centre script.
You don’t need a chain’s budget. You need a ceiling, a hypothesis and two weeks of reading.
You don’t need a 40-page plan. You need image, phone and WhatsApp to say the same thing as the door.
